If local itching occurs after using Nifuratel, the primary consideration should be an individual allergic reaction to the medication. Allergic reactions may manifest as localized skin discomfort and itching. Additionally, increased secretions that irritate the area may also cause itching. To rule out other possibilities, personal hygiene before and after medication use should be evaluated. Failure to maintain cleanliness may allow bacteria or fungi to invade opportunistically, leading to infection and subsequent itching. If underwear is not changed promptly, a moist environment can become a breeding ground for bacteria, exacerbating the itching.
