Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Qi Zhirong
Pancreatic cancer refers to a malignant tumor arising from the ductal epithelium of the pancreas, usually caused by factors such as long-term heavy alcohol consumption and pancreatitis. In general, if the patient's condition is mild, and they maintain good daily habits—such as going to bed early and rising early, eating a light diet—and receive treatment under a doctor's guidance with medications like multiprotease tablets, compound pancreatin tablets, and indomethacin sustained-release capsules, the disease may be curable. However, if the patient has a severe condition with prominent symptoms such as abdominal pain, indigestion, jaundice, weight loss, and anxiety, and fails to maintain healthy lifestyle habits—such as frequently staying up late, not complying with medical treatment, or arbitrarily reducing or stopping medication—the disease is generally incurable in such cases.
