Why does heavy dampness in the body cause leg swelling?
Disease description:
I've always had a lot of dampness in my body, and recently I started experiencing swelling. I would like to ask, why does having excessive dampness in the body cause leg swelling?
Dampness can lead to edema. Since the thighs are located in the lower part of the body, they are more prone to increased swelling. Dampness often results from prolonged living conditions or working in cold and damp environments. Additionally, frequently wearing clothes that are not fully dried may also contribute. Dizziness, mental fatigue, unsatisfactory bowel movements with incomplete evacuation, and bodily swelling are common symptoms.
