Surgical treatment is performed for a ruptured arm tendon, allowing the torn tendon ends to gradually retract. After successful anesthesia, the area is disinfected, the skin is incised, and the location of the tendon rupture is identified. The subcutaneous tissue and skin are then sutured, followed by external fixation with a plaster cast. After the onset of symptoms, patients should avoid movement and go to the hospital for MRI or ultrasound imaging to clearly assess the extent of tissue damage.
