Pain in the glabella (area between the eyebrows) may be caused by cerebrovascular disease, insufficient sleep, or other factors. It is primarily due to cerebrovascular disorders or intracranial space-occupying lesions. A cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan is required to determine whether there are any organic abnormalities, and consultation with a neurosurgeon is necessary. Additionally, high levels of stress from life or work, as well as mental tension, anxiety, and depression, can lead to insufficient or poor-quality sleep, which in turn makes one more susceptible to glabellar pain.
