After meningioma surgery, fluid accumulation may require treatment through methods such as heat application or surgical intervention. Small amounts of subcutaneous fluid collection can often be absorbed spontaneously. If the subcutaneous fluid is moderate in amount, heat therapy and physical therapy can be used to promote its absorption. In cases of large-volume subcutaneous fluid accumulation that cannot resolve on its own, subcutaneous puncture and aspiration may be performed, followed by compression dressing. Additionally, antibiotics should be administered to prevent infection.
