During a follow-up examination, I discovered that I had developed sequelae. What are the differential diagnoses for sequelae of stroke?

Dr. Huang Shichang
The differential diagnosis of post-stroke sequelae includes patterns of qi deficiency with blood stasis, liver-kidney yin deficiency, and wind-phlegm with blood stasis. First, control of the underlying disease is essential, primarily involving management of blood pressure, lipid levels, and blood glucose, as well as the use of anticoagulant, antihypertensive, and hypoglycemic medications. Secondary prevention of stroke should be emphasized to prevent recurrence. Patients who are bedridden for prolonged periods should be regularly repositioned or have their backs gently patted; massage is also recommended to prevent pressure ulcers and muscle atrophy.
