Patients can generally detect abnormal fetal position through ultrasound examination, and corrective methods such as the knee-chest position or acupuncture may be used. If the abdominal wall is thick or particularly lax, an ultrasound examination is recommended to check for malposition of the fetus. If no treatment has been undertaken before 30 weeks of gestation, correction should begin after 30 weeks. Around 30 weeks of pregnancy, women can choose the chest-knee position for correction: use a soft mattress, wear comfortable clothing, and keep the abdomen balanced with the bed surface, utilizing gravity to help the fetus properly descend into the pelvis and correct fetal position. This should be performed twice daily, each session lasting approximately 15 minutes.
