How long does it usually take for white lung to recover?
Disease description:
My aunt was diagnosed with white lung and has now been hospitalized. How long does it usually take to recover from white lung?
White lung can typically recover within about one week. Severe lung inflammation may lead to white lung, and the recovery time depends on the patient's immune system and treatment response. With active anti-infective treatment and enhanced nutritional support, improvement usually begins within about a week. However, because lung function is very fragile and prone to upper respiratory tract infections, if symptoms such as difficulty breathing or respiratory distress occur, treatment may take much longer—possibly half a month to even one month—for full recovery.
