Is uterine bleeding a form of menstrual disorder?
Disease description:
I feel that the occurrence of menstruation signifies a woman's healthy body and fertility. During the menstrual period, in addition to bleeding, there are usually other symptoms, such as fatigue, headache, and loss of appetite. So, is uterine bleeding considered menstrual irregularity?
Uterine bleeding is a manifestation of menstrual disorders. Some individuals experience irregular menstrual cycles, shortened cycle intervals, prolonged menstruation, or vaginal bleeding, while others may have intermenstrual bleeding, including ovulation-related bleeding. The loss of normal bleeding patterns and variable bleeding intervals—ranging from several days to months—are all caused by menstrual irregularities. Most cases are due to abnormal hormone levels in the body and require relevant examinations, including ultrasound, reproductive endocrine testing, and in some cases, hysteroscopy or diagnostic curettage. It is recommended that patients first rule out organic diseases, then undergo hemostatic treatment followed by menstrual cycle regulation.
