Disease description:

Recently, I've been experiencing frequent vaginal bleeding and mild lower abdominal pain. After a hospital examination, the preliminary diagnosis suggests blocked fallopian tubes. However, I am currently trying to conceive. If I undergo surgery for blocked fallopian tubes, will I still be able to get pregnant?

If you have just undergone fallopian tube surgery, it is generally recommended to abstain from sexual intercourse for one month after the procedure. Normal sexual activity should only resume once the surgical incision has fully healed. If ovarian function remains unaffected after the surgery, a woman's ovulation function will continue to be normal. In theory, there is still a possibility of pregnancy; therefore, patients who have recently undergone surgery for blocked fallopian tubes are generally advised to avoid intercourse for at least one month. Meanwhile, women recovering from surgery for blocked fallopian tubes should pay attention to eating soft, easily digestible foods and may consume more sweets, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
