Dr. Zhao Xiaodong
Blocked fallopian tubes do not affect ovulation. Ovulation still occurs even when the fallopian tubes are blocked; however, because sperm cannot meet the egg due to the blockage, infertility may result. If fallopian tube blockage is suspected, it is necessary to go to the hospital for a hysterosalpingography (HSG) to determine the location of the blockage, followed by appropriate tubal recanalization treatment based on the specific situation. Patients are advised to have regular medical check-ups and, if any issues arise, to seek targeted treatment under a doctor's guidance.
