Disease description:

Synovitis can also make a patient's knee feel soft and weak. This condition can develop even in patients without trauma. Once the disease occurs, if left untreated, the edema will not subside. Can synovitis resolve on its own?

Synovitis usually does not resolve on its own. Synovitis can be classified into traumatic synovitis, tuberculous synovitis, gouty synovitis, hemophilic synovitis, rheumatoid synovitis, and pigmented villonodular synovitis. Most cases of synovitis are aseptic inflammation. Swelling, pain, and fever associated with acute synovitis result from the body's immune response to the lesion, leading to an elevated temperature, typically not exceeding 38°C, and lasting no more than three days. Standard treatment under a doctor's guidance with medications that reduce swelling, relieve pain, and promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis is usually sufficient.
