Doctor, I've recently been using the Sanfu贴 (Sanfu patches). I'd like to ask, is it okay to have an ultrasound while using these patches?

Sanfu Patch, also known as "Sanfu moist compress," is a folk therapy and an important component of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese treatment methods. It usually involves applying medicinal ointment or liquid to areas of the body such as the waist, back, and knees. Each application lasts about 20 minutes, repeated three times daily over a sustained period. Undergoing a Sanfu Patch treatment generally precludes having an ultrasound (B-ultrasound), because ultrasound is a medical imaging examination that clearly reveals the structure and function of internal organs, whereas the Sanfu Patch works only through warmth to help the body expel toxins, thereby achieving therapeutic effects.
