Skin tends to become dry easily during winter, but this can be managed through various methods. Adjust your bathing habits by reducing bathing frequency—2 to 3 times per week is ideal—and avoid using excessively hot water or spending too long in the shower to prevent excessive loss of skin moisture. Choose moisturizing and hydrating bath products, and immediately after bathing, while the skin is still damp, apply moisturizing skincare products such as body lotions or护肤 oils, focusing on areas prone to dryness like lower legs, elbows, and ankles.

Drink plenty of water daily to keep your body well-hydrated and support metabolism. Use a humidifier indoors to increase air humidity and improve dry environmental conditions. Regarding diet, consume more foods rich in vitamin A and vitamin E, such as carrots, nuts, and animal liver, which can help improve skin condition. When going outdoors, take protective measures by wearing warm, breathable clothing to prevent direct exposure of skin to cold, dry air.

If dryness is severe, seek medical advice promptly.
