What are the symptoms of salpingitis in women?
Disease description:
Recently, after having sex, I've been experiencing pain in my lower abdomen. I'm worried that I might have adnexitis. Could you please tell me what the symptoms of adnexitis in women are?
Symptoms of female adnexitis mainly include:
1. Fever: Patients may develop high fever, with body temperature reaching 39–40°C, accompanied by chills, indicating possible spread of inflammation.
2. Abdominal pain: Lower abdominal pain is a common symptom of adnexitis, usually bilateral, and may worsen during bowel movements.
3. Menstrual irregularity: Manifested as frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow, possibly related to ovarian dysfunction or pelvic congestion.
4. Dysmenorrhea: Congestive dysmenorrhea caused by pelvic congestion typically begins about one week before menstruation and becomes more pronounced as the period approaches.
5. Other symptoms: These include abnormal discharge, increased thick vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odor, lumbago (lower back pain), and bladder or rectal irritation symptoms such as urinary frequency.
