The main reasons for leg weakness while walking after meniscus injury are as follows: 1. Poor local blood circulation: Meniscus injury can cause knee joint pain, thereby affecting local blood circulation and making the patient feel leg weakness. 2. Severe injury: In cases of severe meniscus damage, patients may experience significant pain and swelling, leading to weak muscle contractions around the knee joint and resulting in leg weakness. 3. Decreased joint stability: After the injury, impaired meniscus function leads to reduced joint stability. When joint loading increases, it can easily trigger symptoms of leg weakness. 4. Excessive fatigue: If the patient does not get sufficient rest after the injury and continues weight-bearing activities, excessive fatigue may lead to excessive anaerobic respiration in the muscles, causing lactic acid accumulation and resulting in leg weakness.
