Can bone marrow cancer (blood cancer) be cured?
Disease description:
This year, my health has not been very good. During a physical examination, I was diagnosed with bone marrow tumor and leukemia. May I ask, can bone marrow tumor and leukemia be treated?

Bone marrow tumor blood cancer, also known as leukemia, is a severe malignant disorder of the hematologic system. However, it is not an incurable disease and can be treated. Treatment methods mainly include chemotherapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Chemotherapy, administered orally or intravenously in combination regimens, aims to kill rapidly growing cancer cells. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can be either autologous or allogeneic, providing a relatively clean environment for normal hematopoietic stem cells and promoting the recovery of hematopoietic function. Additionally, molecular targeted drugs and traditional Chinese medicine can serve as adjunctive treatment options. However, whether the disease can be cured depends on the type of leukemia, its stage, and the patient's prognostic risk stratification. With continuous advancements in medical technology, both survival time and quality of life for patients with bone marrow tumor blood cancer have significantly improved.
