What does late-stage bone marrow cancer look like in the end?
Disease description:
Last month, my body started feeling very unwell, with constant pain reaching deep into the bones. After an examination, I was diagnosed with late-stage bone marrow cancer. May I ask, what will the final stage be like?

Patients with late-stage multiple myeloma typically face severe health conditions, manifested as follows:
1. Worsening symptoms: Bone pain significantly intensifies, potentially involving the sacrum, thoracic cage, limbs, and worsening with activity or strain.
2. Severe anemia: Reduced red blood cell count leads to anemia, potentially causing pallor, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
3. Risk of fractures: Bone destruction increases the likelihood of pathological fractures, affecting patients' daily activities and quality of life.
4. Infections and bleeding: Impaired immune function makes patients susceptible to infections such as pneumonia and cystitis; coagulation dysfunction may lead to bleeding from areas such as the nose and gums.
5. Other complications: Complications such as hyperuricemia, hepatosplenomegaly, and neurological abnormalities may occur, increasing treatment challenges and patient suffering.
