Why didn't I get pregnant after having sex during ovulation?
I had intercourse during my ovulation period, yet I didn't get pregnant. I would like to know, why didn't I become pregnant even though I had intercourse during ovulation?
There are several reasons why pregnancy may not occur despite having intercourse during the ovulation period, which may include:
1. Improperly timed intercourse: A mature egg typically survives in the body for 24-48 hours. If intercourse does not occur within this window, pregnancy may not result.
2. Psychological factors: Excessive stress or anxiety may affect embryo implantation. It is recommended to maintain a calm mindset and avoid excessive worry.
3. Pathological factors: Conditions such as endometritis, fallopian tube blockage, ovarian dysfunction, or male sperm abnormalities may prevent pregnancy.
4. Probability of conception: Pregnancy is a complex physiological process. Although intercourse during the ovulation period increases the likelihood of pregnancy, it does not guarantee conception.
Couples are advised to maintain a relaxed mindset, time intercourse appropriately, and consider undergoing necessary medical evaluations to identify the specific cause.
