After a child is bitten by insects or mosquitoes, if an allergic reaction occurs, it often manifests as rapid redness, swelling, and a raised bump at the bite site, accompanied by intense itching. The child may scratch the area frequently due to the discomfort. As the allergic reaction intensifies, the swollen area may expand, potentially forming blisters or blood blisters, with surrounding skin also becoming red. In severe cases, the child may experience systemic symptoms such as fever, headache, nausea, and even develop hives or anaphylactic shock. Therefore, once allergic symptoms following an insect or mosquito bite are noticed in a child, parents should immediately take measures to alleviate the symptoms, closely monitor the child's condition, and seek medical attention promptly when necessary.
