Symptoms of High Eye Pressure

Elevated intraocular pressure may not present obvious symptoms in the early stages. However, as the pressure increases, the following signs and symptoms may occur: 1. Visual changes: Gradual narrowing of the visual field, blurred peripheral vision, resembling tunnel vision. 2. Eye pain: Aching or pressure in the eyes, particularly after fatigue, reading, or being in dim lighting. 3. Headache: Elevated eye pressure may cause headaches, especially when associated with ocular discomfort. 4. Nausea and vomiting: A sudden increase in intraocular pressure may lead to nausea and vomiting. 5. Halos: Seeing colored rings or halos around lights, especially at night. 6.
