Allergic urticaria is a skin inflammatory reaction triggered by allergens. Its ability to resolve spontaneously depends on multiple factors, including the severity of the allergen exposure, the strength of the individual's immune response, and whether the person promptly removes themselves from the allergen environment. For patients with mild symptoms, clear allergen identification, and rapid removal from allergen exposure, the body may gradually reduce the allergic reaction through self-regulation and achieve spontaneous resolution. However, if the allergen persists, symptoms are severe, or there is involvement of other organ systems, such as difficulty breathing or abdominal pain, the likelihood of spontaneous resolution is low, and the condition may even be life-threatening, necessitating prompt medical treatment. Therefore, although some cases of allergic urticaria may resolve spontaneously, one should not blindly rely on self-resolution. Instead, appropriate measures such as allergen avoidance and anti-allergy treatments should be implemented based on the severity of the condition to promote recovery.
