Laser treatment is effective for improving enlarged pores, and the results are typically quite noticeable. The principle of laser treatment for enlarged pores mainly involves delivering laser heat directly to the skin tissue, stimulating collagen production in the dermis, and promoting the repair of skin fibers, thereby improving enlarged pores and rough skin texture, as well as effectively reducing pore size. There are several types of laser treatments for enlarged pores, including intense pulsed light, radiofrequency microneedling, and fractional laser therapy. These techniques each have their own characteristics but can all improve the condition of enlarged pores to some extent. For example, intense pulsed light can regulate sebaceous gland secretion, radiofrequency microneedling can disrupt sebaceous glands and stimulate collagen fiber growth in the dermis, while fractional laser can reach deep into the dermal layer, stimulating fibroblast regeneration and promoting the synthesis of new collagen and elastic fibers, thus tightening and reducing pore size.
