Symptoms of Poor Sperm Quality in Men
I personally have a kidney deficiency condition, so I'm very concerned that my sperm might also be affected. I would like to ask the doctor: what are the signs of poor sperm quality in men?

Poor male sperm quality is typically manifested in the following aspects:
1. Low sperm concentration: Under normal circumstances, the number of sperm per milliliter of semen should be greater than 20 million. If the number is significantly reduced, it may lead to infertility.
2. Insufficient motility: Sperm motility is critical and is categorized into rapid progressive movement (Grade A), slow progressive movement (Grade B), and non-progressive movement. A low percentage of Grade A and Grade B sperm indicates poor motility, which affects fertility.
3. Abnormal morphology: Normally shaped sperm should account for at least 4% of the total. If most sperm have abnormal morphology, it may impair their ability to penetrate the egg cell.
4. Low semen volume: The normal semen volume ranges from 1.5 to 5 milliliters; a volume significantly below this range may affect sperm count.
5. Prolonged liquefaction time: Semen should liquefy within 30 minutes after ejaculation to allow sperm to swim freely. If the liquefaction time is too long, it will affect sperm motility.
