Why Do Whiteheads Develop?
Disease description:
When I woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror, I noticed several small bumps on my neck, and they even had white heads. A friend said they are whiteheads. Why do whiteheads develop?
The main causes of whiteheads include:
1. Endocrine factors: Especially during puberty, high levels of androgens can stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce excess sebum, leading to whiteheads.
2. Dietary factors: Consuming excessive spicy, greasy, or sweet foods may also increase sebum production, resulting in the formation of whiteheads.
3. Psychological and immune factors: Prolonged熬夜 (staying up late) and high levels of psychological stress can cause endocrine and immune system dysfunction, which may trigger whiteheads.
4. Local skin factors: Incomplete skin cleansing or using comedogenic cosmetics can lead to clogged hair follicles, preventing the normal excretion of sebum and keratin, thus forming whiteheads.
