Summer skin itching may have multiple causes: 1. High temperature and humidity: In summer, high temperature and humidity cause the body to sweat easily. Substances such as salt in sweat may irritate the skin, leading to itching. 2. Solar dermatitis: An allergic skin condition caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays in sunlight, closely related to individual constitution and skin color. Strong summer sunlight can easily trigger this condition after prolonged exposure. 3. Allergy: Usually caused by contact with, ingestion of, or inhalation of allergens, such as pollen or seafood. 4. Dermatitis: Strong summer UV radiation can damage the skin after prolonged exposure, causing allergic dermatitis. Additionally, summer brings more insects and mosquitoes; after being bitten, their toxins may enter the body, causing insect bite dermatitis. 5. Heat rash: In hot and humid environments, excessive sweat cannot evaporate easily, leading to blocked sweat ducts. This presents as raised small blisters or papules, accompanied by skin itching. 6. Cholinergic urticaria: Hot summer weather is a common trigger. Patients may experience itching or a burning sensation, mainly affecting the trunk and limbs. 7. Miliaria: Caused by blocked sweat ducts, hot and humid environments are common causes. It typically presents as papules or papulovesicles, accompanied by mild stinging and itching sensations.
