Dr. Wang Xiaoyan
Ichthyosis is a chronic condition that typically requires long-term, consistent treatment. Because the development of ichthyosis is related to multiple factors such as genetics and environment, and symptoms tend to recur easily, patients need to work closely with their physicians to develop individualized treatment plans and pay attention to skin care in daily life in order to alleviate symptoms and prevent relapses. Treatment methods include topical care, moisturizing therapy, medication, and physical therapy, with specific approaches determined according to the patient's condition and the physician's recommendations. Although ichthyosis cannot be completely cured, appropriate treatment and management can significantly improve symptoms and enhance the patient's quality of life. Therefore, patients with ichthyosis need to consistently maintain disease management and treatment to control the condition and reduce symptom occurrence.
