Gout patients are not advised to consume black chicken soup, mainly for the following reasons: 1. High purine content: Black chicken itself contains purines, which are easily dissolved in water. After prolonged cooking, a large amount of purines will enter the soup, and the longer the cooking time, the higher the purine content. For gout patients, consuming high-purine foods can elevate blood uric acid levels in the body, thus triggering or worsening gout symptoms. 2. Unfavorable for disease control: Gout is a joint system disease caused by hyperuricemia. After consuming black chicken soup, patients may experience abnormal increases in blood uric acid levels, which is not conducive to controlling and treating the condition, and may even exacerbate symptoms such as joint pain, swelling, and heat. It is recommended to eat more high-nutrition, low-purine foods, such as oats, eggs, and dairy products, to maintain stable uric acid levels and promote recovery from the condition.
