Symptoms of hydrocele
Disease description:
Recently, I have been experiencing particularly severe pain in the testicles, and there is always a hard lump-like sensation. I suspect that I might have hydrocele. Could you please tell me what are the common symptoms of this condition?

This usually causes the following symptoms:
1. Scrotal swelling: The most common symptom is painless enlargement of the scrotum. Patients may notice a noticeable lump in one or both testicular areas, which feels soft and movable upon touch.
2. Heaviness: Due to the increased weight from the fluid accumulation, patients may experience a sensation of dragging or heaviness in the scrotum.
3. Discomfort: Although the fluid accumulation itself typically does not cause pain, some patients may feel mild discomfort or a pulling sensation, especially after prolonged standing or physical activity.
In adults, persistent fluid accumulation may require surgery to drain the fluid.
