What are the causes of right testicular pain?
I have been experiencing pain in my right testicle while sleeping recently. I would like to ask what could be the cause of pain in the right testicle?

Causes of right testicular pain include the following:
1. Varicocele: This is pain caused by abnormal dilation of the veins in the testicle, which is more common in adolescents and young adult males. It may cause one testicle to hang lower than the other and may sometimes be accompanied by a dull or aching pain.
2. Testicular torsion: This is a medical emergency in which the blood supply to the testicle becomes blocked. Symptoms include sudden severe testicular pain, swelling, and nausea. If not treated promptly, it can lead to testicular tissue damage or even necrosis.
3. Epididymitis and orchitis: These inflammations are usually caused by bacterial or viral infections and can lead to redness, swelling, and pain in the testicle or epididymis. Sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea and non-gonococcal urethritis are common causes.
4. Testicular trauma: Injury to the testicle, such as from impact or compression, is also a common cause of pain.
5. Other conditions: Other diseases such as urinary tract stones, colitis, or acute appendicitis may also cause referred pain to the right testicle.
If symptoms persist or worsen, prompt medical attention is recommended.
