From a professional perspective, when consuming dried persimmons, certain foods should be avoided to prevent adverse effects on the body. The following are foods that should not be consumed together with dried persimmons:

1. Sweet potatoes: Sweet potatoes contain large amounts of starch, which can react with tannic acid in dried persimmons. The resulting precipitate may form water-insoluble masses that can easily lead to the formation of gastric stones.

2. High-protein foods: Such as seafood, milk, and eggs. Tannic acid may combine with proteins to form indigestible precipitates, affecting gastrointestinal function. In severe cases, this can lead to the formation of "persimmon bezoars," causing symptoms such as abdominal pain and nausea.

3. Alcoholic beverages: Alcohol can react with tannic acid in dried persimmons to form indigestible clumps, potentially causing indigestion or even intestinal obstruction.

4. Black dates (jujubes): The pectin in black dates can combine with tannic acid in dried persimmons, forming indigestible precipitates that may accumulate in the body and potentially lead to stone formation.

Dried persimmons contain high levels of sugar; therefore, diabetic patients should consume them in limited quantities and avoid consuming them in large amounts with other high-sugar foods to prevent significant fluctuations in blood glucose levels.
