Hello, primary nasal cavity carcinoma—malignant tumors originating in the nasal cavity—is relatively rare; most cases are secondary. Early manifestations of nasal cavity carcinoma include progressive, unilateral nasal obstruction and recurrent epistaxis. As the tumor enlarges, patients may develop numbness and swelling of the nose and face, as well as diminished or lost sense of smell. On physical examination, the nasal cavity typically appears filled with a papillomatous, friable mass. Surgical resection is the recommended treatment for nasal cavity malignancies. We hope this information is helpful to you. Wishing you a happy and healthy life!
