It is not entirely uncommon to experience pain at the urethral opening after surgeries related to the dorsal nerve. Pain at the urethral opening during the short-term postoperative period, especially within the first two weeks after surgery, may be a normal physiological phenomenon.

Mild discomfort or pain may be caused by surgical stress response, local inflammation, or effects of anesthetic drugs, or could result from irregular diet or lifestyle habits. These conditions may gradually improve during the postoperative recovery period. For this situation, patients are advised to maintain a light diet and avoid spicy or irritating foods. Additionally, appropriate oral anti-inflammatory medications may be taken to aid in treatment.

If the pain persists, especially if accompanied by symptoms such as difficulty urinating, frequent urination, urgency, or painful urination, or if the intensity of the pain worsens, it may indicate the presence of infection, nerve damage, or other complications. In such cases, timely medical consultation is necessary, along with urinalysis and color ultrasound examination of the urinary system.
