The best treatment for athlete's foot
My skin condition on my feet has flared up again recently. I would like to know what is the best treatment for athlete's foot?

Tinea pedis, also known as athlete's foot, is a common skin disease caused by fungal infection. The treatment of athlete's foot aims to completely eliminate the fungus and prevent recurrence.
Treatment options for athlete's foot include:
1. Topical antifungal medications: For the interdigital erosive type, it is recommended to soak the feet in potassium permanganate solution for 20 minutes each time, followed by application of imidazole or allylamine antifungal creams; for the vesicular type, compound salicylate, imidazole, or allylamine antifungal topical medications can be used; for the squamous hyperkeratotic type, antifungal creams or ointments are selected, and patients with excessive keratosis can additionally use salicylic acid or benzoic acid ointment.
2. Keeping the feet dry and clean: Fungi grow and multiply easily in moist environments, so it is very important to keep the feet dry. Wash feet daily and dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes. Choose breathable shoes and socks, and avoid wearing wet shoes and socks.
3. Changing lifestyle habits: Avoid walking barefoot in public places such as locker rooms, bathrooms, and swimming pools. Use personal towels and slippers, and do not share them with others.
