Common causes of hip pain in women:

1. Soft tissue injury: Vigorous exercise, prolonged heavy physical labor, or external impact may cause local soft tissue strain or injury, leading to pain. At this time, appropriate rest is recommended, and cold compresses, hot compresses, or medication can be used to relieve symptoms.

2. Bone and joint problems: Conditions such as hip arthritis, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, hip fractures, or stress fractures can all cause pain in the hip area.

3. Pregnancy: During pregnancy, hormonal changes and shifts in body center of gravity may lead to sacroiliac joint pain or pubic symphysis separation, commonly referred to as "pregnancy-related hip pain."

4. Lumbar spine diseases: For example, lumbar disc herniation. When the intervertebral disc compresses the nerve roots, it may also cause hip pain.

5. Gynecological conditions: Gynecological diseases such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, or pelvic inflammatory disease may sometimes present as hip pain.
