What are the common digestive system diseases?
Recently, I have been experiencing some discomfort in my abdomen and am concerned that it might be related to a digestive system disease. What are the common diseases of the digestive system?

Common digestive system diseases are as follows:
1. Gastritis: Inflammation of the gastric mucosa caused by various factors. Common symptoms include upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
2. Gastric ulcer: An ulcer on the stomach wall. The main symptom is upper abdominal pain, particularly evident after meals or at night.
3. Duodenal diseases: Including duodenal ulcer, peptic ulcer, and duodenitis. Similar to gastric ulcers, but the ulcer occurs in the duodenum, with pain often appearing several hours after eating.
4. Enteritis: Inflammation of the intestines, which can be caused by bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections. Common symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, and others.
5. Inflammatory bowel disease: Chronic inflammation of the intestines. Symptoms include persistent diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight loss, and others.
6. Gallbladder diseases: Such as cholecystitis and cholangitis. Commonly accompanied by right upper quadrant abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
7. Pancreatic diseases: Such as acute and chronic pancreatitis. Acute pancreatitis presents with severe symptoms including intense abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
In addition, there are gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastrointestinal polyps, intestinal calculi, fatty liver, and others. Symptoms of these diseases vary, and their diagnostic methods and treatments also differ accordingly.
