Hyperuricemia, characterized by elevated uric acid levels, is a common metabolic disorder primarily manifested by increased uric acid concentration in the blood. Under normal circumstances, uric acid in the body is excreted through the kidneys and maintained within a certain range. However, when the production of uric acid is excessive or its excretion is reduced, uric acid levels can rise.

1. Adjust your diet: Reduce intake of high-purine foods such as organ meats, seafood, and red meat. Increase consumption of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, which are rich in fiber and vitamins and can help lower uric acid levels. Avoid alcohol consumption, especially beer and spirits, as they can increase uric acid production.

2. Increase fluid intake: Drinking more water helps dilute uric acid in the urine and promotes its excretion. It is recommended to maintain a daily water intake of more than 2000 milliliters.

3. Engage in appropriate physical activity: Regular exercise helps control body weight and reduce fat accumulation, thereby lowering uric acid levels. Aerobic activities such as walking, jogging, and swimming are recommended.
