Which fruits can help reduce internal heat?
During this period, I have been experiencing some internal heat (fire) and don't want to take any medication to reduce it. I would like to ask what fruits are recommended for dietary therapy to help alleviate this condition.

The following fruits have certain effects in reducing internal heat:
1. Watermelon: Watermelon is cold in nature and sweet in taste. It can clear internal heat, relieve summerheat, promote diuresis, and reduce edema. Its high water content helps replenish body fluids and alleviate symptoms of thirst and short, red urination caused by excessive internal heat.
2. Pear: Pears are cool in nature, sweet and slightly sour in taste. They can moisten the lungs, relieve coughing, clear heat, and reduce internal fire. Pears are particularly effective in alleviating sore throat and coughing caused by excessive internal heat. Among them, snow pear has a stronger effect in clearing heat.
3. Apple: Apples are neutral in nature, sweet and sour in taste. They can strengthen the spleen, benefit the stomach, stimulate the production of body fluids, and relieve thirst. The pectin in apples can absorb harmful substances in the intestines, aiding in the elimination of toxins from the body and thus exerting a certain effect in reducing internal heat.
4. Pomelo: Pomelo is cool in nature, sweet and sour in taste. It can clear heat, resolve phlegm, and moisten the lungs to relieve coughing. Rich in vitamin C and fiber, pomelo enhances immunity, promotes metabolism, and helps eliminate excess heat from the body.
If symptoms of excessive internal heat are severe or persist, it is advisable to seek timely medical attention and follow the treatment recommendations provided by a physician.
