Uterine fibroids are common benign tumors in the female reproductive system, composed of smooth muscle cells of the uterus. The symptoms and manifestations include:

1. Menstrual changes, commonly表现为 increased menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual periods, caused by the enlargement of the uterine cavity due to fibroids, increased endometrial surface area, and impaired uterine contraction.

2. Lower abdominal mass, when the fibroid grows large enough to make the uterus the size of a uterus at three months' pregnancy or larger, a solid mass can be felt in the lower abdomen.

3. Increased vaginal discharge, due to an enlarged uterine cavity and increased secretion from endometrial glands caused by fibroids. There may also be pressure symptoms, as fibroids may compress surrounding organs such as the bladder or urethra, causing frequent urination, urgency, or difficulty in urination; they may also compress the rectum, leading to constipation and other issues.

4. Pain, for example, when a fibroid undergoes torsion or necrosis, pain may occur in the lower abdomen or the lower back.

5. Discomfort during sexual intercourse, experiencing discomfort or pain during sexual activity.

6. Infertility or miscarriage, submucosal fibroids located beneath the endometrium may affect the implantation of the fertilized egg, leading to infertility or an increased risk of miscarriage.

7. Anemia, long-term heavy menstrual bleeding can lead to iron-deficiency anemia, causing symptoms such as fatigue and weakness.

If you have any concerns or experience discomfort, please seek medical attention promptly.
