Right shoulder pain can be caused by various factors, mainly including:

1. Poor posture: Prolonged maintenance of improper posture may lead to local muscle and fascia damage, thus causing pain.

2. Environmental factors: Prolonged exposure to cold environments without adequate warmth preservation may result in muscle spasms and pain.

3. Trauma: Shoulder joint dislocation, fractures, and other injuries can also cause significant shoulder pain.

4. Periarthritis of the shoulder: This is a chronic inflammation of the soft tissues surrounding the shoulder joint, including muscles, tendons, bursae, and joint capsule. It is mainly characterized by shoulder pain and restricted movement, with night pain being a distinguishing feature. This condition commonly occurs in middle-aged and elderly individuals, with a higher prevalence in women than in men.

5. Rotator cuff injury: The rotator cuff consists of the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis muscles. Tears in these muscles or their tendons can cause shoulder pain and affect shoulder joint function. This condition is often caused by sports injuries, long-term overuse, or aging.

6. Cervical spondylosis: Lesions in the cervical spine may compress nerve roots, causing referred shoulder pain, accompanied by symptoms such as neck stiffness, headache, and arm numbness. This condition is particularly common among individuals who maintain poor posture for extended periods while working.
