I have been experiencing persistent pain in my right shoulder recently, especially when lifting my arm, where the pain becomes more pronounced. At times, I also feel stiffness in the shoulder, making movement difficult and uncomfortable. What could be causing this?

3. Shoulder periarthritis: This is a common shoulder condition, possibly caused by excessive joint wear and tear, characterized by shoulder pain and restricted movement.
4. Rotator cuff injury: Repetitive shoulder joint movements or trauma may cause tears or damage to the rotator cuff, leading to pain.
5. Frozen shoulder: This condition involves thickening and contraction of tissues within the shoulder joint, limiting range of motion and causing pain.
6. Osteoarthritis: With aging, the cartilage in the shoulder joint may gradually wear away, causing osteoarthritis, which leads to pain and stiffness.
