Disease description:

Recently, I have noticed the appearance of some small red bumps on my body. These bumps are grain-like in appearance and are distributed on my arms, legs, and torso. The bumps sometimes cause mild itching, but for the most part, they do not cause any discomfort. I am concerned that this might be an early symptom of some kind of skin condition, and I would like to understand what this condition could be and how it should be managed.

Small red bumps or tiny pimples on the skin may be caused by various skin conditions, such as skin allergies, eczema, papular urticaria, folliculitis, and tinea corporis. Skin allergies are usually related to exposure to allergens, eczema can be triggered by multiple internal and external factors, papular urticaria is often associated with insect bites, folliculitis results from fungal or bacterial infection of hair follicles, and tinea corporis is caused by dermatophyte infection. Additionally, environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation and dry climate may also lead to such skin symptoms.

Avoid using cosmetics, detergents, or clothing that might irritate the skin, and choose mild, non-irritating products. If the bumps cause itching or discomfort, you can try applying local cold compresses or using gentle anti-itch creams.
