After sunburn, the following measures should be taken immediately:

1. Cool the skin: Apply a cold compress or wrap ice in a towel and place it on the sunburned area to alleviate pain and swelling. Avoid applying ice directly to the skin to prevent frostbite.

2. Moisturize and repair: For skin care after sunburn, apply lotions or gels containing aloe vera, vitamin E, and other soothing and moisturizing ingredients.

3. Diet: Sunburn may cause dehydration; therefore, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. It is recommended to consume light, easily digestible foods such as fresh vegetables and fruits to replenish water and vitamin C, which aids skin recovery.

4. Avoid further sun exposure: Until the skin fully recovers, try to avoid direct sunlight. When going outdoors, wear long-sleeved clothing, a hat, and use sunscreen with a high SPF.

5. Monitor symptoms: If severe sunburn symptoms occur, such as extensive blistering, severe pain, or fever, seek medical attention promptly.
