During this postpartum period, the diet should mainly consist of high-protein and nutrient-rich foods such as lean meat, eggs, and fish, supplemented with fresh vegetables and fruits to ensure balanced nutrition. In the first few days after childbirth, the digestive system may be weak, so it is recommended to consume easily digestible liquid or soft foods such as millet porridge or oatmeal. Additionally, postpartum women should bathe and wash their hair appropriately to maintain personal hygiene, but should avoid tub bathing. Oral hygiene is also important—rinsing the mouth after meals and brushing teeth regularly can help prevent oral infections. The indoor environment should have good air circulation and an appropriate temperature, avoiding direct exposure to drafts. Clothing should be loose, comfortable, and warm. Moderate physical activity, such as postnatal recovery exercises, can help promote lochia discharge and body shape recovery, although heavy physical labor should be avoided.
