Drinking water promotes metabolism. Many chemical reactions in the body must take place in a water environment. Sufficient water helps absorb and transport nutrients, accelerates the removal of waste from the body, and maintains the normal functioning of various organs.

Secondly, drinking water contributes to maintaining healthy skin. When the body is well-hydrated, skin cells are plump, making the skin more elastic, reducing the formation of wrinkles, improving dryness-related itching issues, and making a person look younger and more energetic.

In addition, drinking water helps regulate body temperature. In hot weather, water removes heat through sweat evaporation, preventing excessive increases in body temperature; in cold conditions, it helps maintain a constant body temperature. Moreover, drinking water protects the joints. Joint fluid contains a large amount of water, which acts as a lubricant, reducing joint wear, lowering the risk of joint diseases, and increasing urine output to flush the urinary tract and prevent urinary tract infections and kidney stones.

However, excessive water intake may lead to water intoxication and cause electrolyte imbalance, so it is important to schedule drinking times and control water intake appropriately.
