What should one eat for emphysema?
My lungs have been very unwell recently; I would like to know what to eat for emphysema.

1. Consume high-quality protein: Patients with emphysema should eat more foods rich in high-quality protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, and iron. High-quality proteins such as lean meat, animal liver, tofu, and soy milk help enhance immune function and promote the repair of damaged tissues. Additionally, foods rich in calcium, such as pork bones, leafy vegetables, and sesame paste, can strengthen the trachea's resistance to allergens and help prevent allergic reactions.
2. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits: Patients with emphysema should limit the intake of milk and dairy products, as these may thicken mucus, making it harder to expel and potentially worsening infections.
