The correct way to use ear drops includes cleaning your hands, maintaining the proper posture, and following the instructions provided by your doctor. Before use, ensure that your hands are clean to avoid introducing bacteria into the ear canal via the dropper, which could lead to infection. It is generally recommended to lie on your side or tilt your head so that the affected ear is facing upward, allowing the ear drops to flow more easily into the deeper part of the ear canal. After instilling the appropriate amount of medication, gently pull the ear flap to help distribute the drops evenly, and maintain this position for several minutes to allow the medication to take full effect. Note that different types of ear drops have different uses, so always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

During the use of ear drops, maintain proper ear hygiene and avoid allowing water or other foreign substances to enter the ear canal. If symptoms do not improve or if you experience abnormal reactions such as severe pain or discharge of pus, contact your doctor promptly for evaluation. Ear drops should be used strictly according to the doctor's instructions or the product label; do not alter the dosage or frequency without authorization. Store ear drops away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children to prevent misuse or degradation.
