How many days after a miscarriage can one go out?
I am a 28-year-old female who has just undergone an abortion and am currently resting at home. My doctor advised me to rest more but didn't specify exactly how long I should wait before going out. I would like to know how many days after the abortion I can go outside.

Rest for at least 24 to 48 hours after an abortion procedure to ensure initial recovery. During this period, avoid strenuous activities and lifting heavy objects to reduce the risk of bleeding or infection. Individual recovery varies, so the exact duration should be determined according to your personal condition and your doctor's advice. If you feel well recovered without significant discomfort, such as abdominal pain or abnormal bleeding, you may attempt brief outings after one week, but still avoid overexertion. Generally, about seven days after the procedure, the body usually recovers basically, with significant relief from uterine cramping pain and cessation of vaginal bleeding. However, this does not mean that you can immediately resume all normal daily activities.
Postoperative personal hygiene is important. Keep the genital area clean and dry, and avoid taking baths; showers are recommended instead. Diet should be light and include foods rich in protein and vitamins, such as lean meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits, which help promote recovery. At the same time, avoid sexual intercourse and heavy physical labor in the short term to ensure adequate rest for the body. Additionally, drink plenty of water to maintain sufficient hydration, which helps eliminate toxins from the body. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience abnormal symptoms such as fever, severe abdominal pain, or continuous heavy bleeding. Maintaining a positive mindset is also important, and engaging in light activities such as walking can help relax both mind and body.
