Can patients with clavicle fractures drink milk?
Disease description:
A few days ago, I accidentally fell and sustained a clavicle fracture. Can I drink milk with a clavicle fracture?
It is safe to drink milk after a clavicle fracture; doing so has no adverse effects on recovery and may even be beneficial. Milk provides essential proteins and calcium required by the body, thereby enhancing immunity and promoting bone growth and development. Following a clavicle fracture, adequate rest and a nutritious diet are important. Foods rich in protein and calcium—such as soy products, lean meat, and milk—should be consumed regularly to support bone healing.
